In 2019, Obsidian Entertainment launched The Outer Worlds, a Action RPG in the first person in a post-apocalyptic world tinged with cynical humor. Yes, it smells like Fallout, it must be said that the studio is known for Fallout: New Vegas and the title was co-directed by Leonard Boyarsky and Tim Cain, alumni of Black Isle Studiosat the origin of the franchise fallout.
However, Tim Cain retired in 2020, leaving his partner alone on The Outer Worlds 2announced during the E3 2021. Yes, it’s getting old, Obsidian Entertainment work first on Avowed and theA-RPG remains mysterious. But here is some good news that will delight and reassure fans of fallout and the first The Outer Worlds : Tim Cain is only semi-retired and is consulting on The Outer Worlds 2. He therefore has the opportunity to follow the development of this suite and give his opinion to the designers, providing a certain guarantee of quality.
