It’s going into the next round in the Pochers’ partly public separation. In the new episode of the podcast “The Pochers! Freshly Recycled”, Oliver Pocher (45) talks to his ex-wife, Sandy Meyer-Wölden (40), about the appearance of the two of them and his still wife, Amira Pocher (31), at the “A Heart for Children” fundraising gala last weekend.

“Elephant” as a charming compliment?

Moderator Johannes B. Kerner (59) pulled the Pochers together in front of the camera at the ZDF gala. Amira had previously arrived on the red carpet well ahead of Oliver Pocher, who came accompanied by his ex-wife. Why? “So Amira was the first to walk the red carpet and didn’t want to walk the red carpet with us,” explains Meyer-Wölden in the podcast.

The comedian thinks it’s silly that they couldn’t pose for photos together. In his opinion, Amira could have “relieved so much pressure from the whole event”. When asked about the “elephant in the room” from “Bild”, he said at the gala on the red carpet: “Well, she’s wearing a bare midriff today, but Amira isn’t that fat.” For him it was just a gag, he now explains. Meyer-Wölden found that quite “charming” of Pocher: “You actually gave her a compliment.”

Meyer-Wölden considers Kerner’s action to be “overreaching”

During the broadcast, Kerner initiated his “little spontaneous action,” as Meyer-Wölden says. Pocher reports that the whole thing was actually not discussed with him and Amira. The moderator called the two of them over briefly during the TV gala and they were asked to say the number of the donation hotline together. However, when the 45-year-old recited all the numbers himself, Amira commented: “It was clear…”.

“Although, I have to say, I also found Kerner’s action a bit excessive. […] My personal opinion: I didn’t think it was necessary,” explains Meyer-Wölden. But you can expect something like that. “Great action,” agrees Pocher, obviously sarcastically. “I can also say whole sentences in one go. I could also moderate this gala from the inside out. But it doesn’t matter.”

The comedian didn’t even hear that the two of them were supposed to read out the number in parts and apparently didn’t want to provoke: “I wasn’t aware that only certain parts of the phone number were allowed to be said. I’m sorry. It was a mistake on my part, too I have to apologize.”

The new episode of “The Pochers! Freshly recycled” with Oliver Pocher and Sandy Meyer-Wölden can be heard exclusively on Podimo.
