Annual Amazon Prime subscription increases by $20 in the United States. Waiting for France?
Amazon has just published its latest quarterly results and took the opportunity to announce an increase in the price of Amazon Prime subscription in the United States.

The price of the annual formula goes from 119 to 139 dollars, an increase of 20 dollars. Users who subscribe only to the month will see their bill switch from 12.99 to 14.99 dollars monthly. The offer for students is also affected by the increase since it will now be necessary to pay 69 dollars per year instead of 59 dollars until then.
From February 18, 2022, new subscribers will see these pricing conditions apply. For users who are already Amazon Prime members, the increase will take effect from March 25, 2022.
For now, only the United States is affected by this increase. But we must not close our eyes, we very often see that a price increase for this kind of service on American soil is subsequently reflected in other Western markets, including France. This was the case recently with Netflix for example.
