The racist royal family? Meghan Markle persists and signs: her vitriolic remarks

Meghan Markle still risks shaking the royal family. On the occasion of the release of his podcast Archetypes on Spotify, Meghan Markle is on the cover of the American magazine The Cut. Looking confident and defying anyone who gets in her way, Meghan Markle’s photo shows that Prince Harry’s wife is back on the media scene.

In a long interview with the magazine, Meghan Markle speaks candidly about her future projects. Her podcast but also her return to Instagram, which she had abandoned to respect royal etiquette. Being a member of the royal family, his image was controlled from all angles. Meghan Markle also returned to this aspect of royalty which suffocated her.

“There is literally a structure you have to go through if you want to post photos of your child. As a member of the family, you must first give them to the Royal Rota” (the British media pool that covers the life of the royal family), recalls Meghan Markle.

But beyond the control of her image and that of her children, another aspect had hurt the Duchess of Sussex. “PWhy would I give people who call my kids with the N-word a picture of my child before I can share it with those who love my child?” she asks her interviewer very directly. “Tell me what makes sense and then I’ll play this game,” adds Meghan Markle.

Meghan Markle couldn’t stand racism against her children

Once again, Meghan Markle did not hesitate to reveal the racist innuendos of members of the royal family. It is an admission that she had already made in the famous interview granted to Oprah Winfrey and which had scandalized Buckingham Palace. At the time, she explained that some royals had expressed their “concerns (…) about how dark his skin would be” and “what it would mean and what it would look like”.

To get away from this control, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry had already created their own Sussex Royal Instagram account. A way to recover their family right to highlight what seems important to them. Despite the distance of his family from London and their resignation from the royal family, Meghan Markle still seems to want to settle accounts.
