Here is the complete agenda of new Disney+ releases from November 11 to 17, 2023. A week that celebrates the return of iconic characters and the birth of a new anime.
After Netflix and Prime Video, it’s time to see what Disney+ has in store for its subscribers for week 50. But before that, a quick look back at the first new features of the month. In recent days, Spider-Man lovers have been able to re(see) almost all of the live-action Spider-Man films. Almost entirely given that No Way Home and Across the Spider-Verse remain unavailable. The children were able to watch Paddington 1 & 2, as well as the series The Ghost and Molly McGee and Valley View Super-Villains. With the rapid start of the new Disney+ releases of the month there was a good chance that the bellows would fall. And unfortunately, this is the case in terms of the number of films planned for the week of December 11 to 17, 2023. There are only two! The first to make its debut on December 13 is the animated feature film Mickey Saves Christmas. A production by David Brooks who is however not familiar with this enchanting universe and is more intended for a young audience. In this unique adventure, the big-eared mouse has only one idea in mind: to offer the best Christmas possible to his friends. An accident, however, will call everything into question and lead the gang to learn the true meaning of this celebration.
The event film of week 50 on Disney+ will be Thor Love and Thunder. An important Marvel feature film for the house of superheroes, but which was a critical flop. According to Rotten Tomatoes, this is one of the worst projects in the MCU. A particularly unloved episode for its overflow of lame jokes, a fault half-recognized by Chris Hemsworth. To discover if you are an absolute fan of the universe, to the point of wanting to watch everything, otherwise we advise you to fall back on the previous ones. Even Ragnarok is far above this Thor 4.

The Disney+ series of week 50 with a funny and violent manga
The Disney+ series for the week of December 11 to 17, 2023 is an anime: Undead Unluck. The adaptation of the manga overseen by David Production and TMS Entertainment, to whom we owe the cult JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Captain Tsubasa (2018) and Detective Conan.
“Andy, a Denier with the “Undead” ability, has long been looking for someone who can give him a “real death.” Fûko Izumo brings misfortune to anyone who touches her due to her “Unluck” ability. Both decide to join the Union, an organization which aims to control the world and protect it from unexplained phenomena. Thus they explore the mysteries of the world while searching for the most beautiful death”.
Season 2 of Soundtrack will broadcast its episodes 3 & 4. A K-Drama which tells the relationship between two very long-time friends, Suho and Hyeonseo, who meet again after having been a couple for six years. A musical romance with Han So-Hee, the lead actress of the Netflix series My Name. These new episodes will be on Disney+ on December 13.

New documentaries and shows (S50)
Disney+, unlike Netflix and Prime Video, will not ignore documentaries. For week 50, the big-eared firm even has a very nice surprise. French director Laurent Bouzereau will offer Eternal Heroes: Indiana Jones & Harrison Ford. A doc which will endeavor to summarize the career of the iconic actor by drawing up a visibly complete portrait of his filmography. But inevitably, there will be a special focus on his role as archaeologist, from the very beginnings with Raiders of the Lost Ark to Indiana Jones 5. A report with interviews with the protagonists of this cult work of cinema, but also archive images.
Another monument will also be studied in the new Disney+ releases of the week: The Beatles. Filmmaker Olivier Murray will take a close-up look at the story behind the band’s final song with “Now and Then: The Beatles’ Last Song.” An immersion into the training at a mass moment with comments from Ringo, George, Sean Ono Lennon and even Peter Jackson.
