In recent weeks, the revelations about the Cybertruck are linked at breakneck speed. First of all, Tesla proudly announced the production of the 1st production Cybertruck at the beginning of July, which gives us good hope of finally seeing the electric pickup arrive by the end of 2023. On several occasions, camouflaged versions of the Cybertruck have also been seen on the roads of Palo Alto. The opportunity to discover the latest modifications made to the vehicle, such as these new aerodynamic wheels for example.

However, a new leaked video from the Cybertruck assembly line today allows us to confirm the presence of a frunk on Tesla’s contraption. In the jargon, a frunk is nothing but a front chest. In itself, nothing surprising since almost all electric cars have one, this part not being occupied by an imposing thermal mother.

The Cybertruck has a tiny frunk that deserves to exist

On a pick-up, however, its presence is less systematic, since users already have a large storage space in the back. However, things are different on the Cybertruck since it will be possible to open the rear trunk or to cover it completely hermetically. In fact, it is rather appreciable to see that Tesla has not overlooked this additional storage space.

However, and as these stolen images show, this frunk offers the bare minimum. We should just have enough store your charging cables, two carry-on bags or a few shopping bags at most. Note that unlike all the old versions of the frunk seen so far, this one is equipped with covers and a synthetic carpet liner.

What we will especially remember from this video is that Tesla is obviously in the nails to respect the latest schedule communicated by the brand. Indeed, the manufacturer has announced that the first deliveries of the Cybertruck will begin this summerwhile the start of mass production is set for the beginning of 2024.
