Beatles legend Paul McCartney is said to have been in the studio for a new Rolling Stones album. Recordings with Ringo Starr are also planned.

The Rolling Stones have not released a full album of original songs since 2005’s “A Bigger Bang.” As the US magazine “Variety” wants to know, but that could change in the future. Accordingly, Mick Jagger (79), Keith Richards (79) and Co. may soon release a new Stones album – and according to several insider sources, Beatles legend Paul McCartney (80) could also play his bass guitar on the untitled work to be heard.

Beatles drummer Ringo Starr also involved?

Recording sessions for a new Stones album with McCartney on bass are said to have taken place in Los Angeles in the past few weeks. Recordings with Beatles drummer Ringo Starr (82) are also planned, as “Variety” further reports. Grammy-winning producer Andrew Watt (32), who has just won rock legend Ozzy Osbourne (74) two trophies for “Best Rock Album” and “Best Metal -Performance” at the 65th Grammy Awards.

In line with this as yet unconfirmed report, Rolling Stones guitarist Richards spoke on Instagram a few weeks ago, and promised the numerous fans of the British rock legends “new music” by the Stones in the future. Furthermore, Beatles legend McCartney explained a few weeks ago on its official website: “I started working with this producer called Andrew Watt and he’s very interesting – we had fun”. According to Variety, however, there is no guarantee that parts recorded by McCartney and Starr will actually be heard on a completed Rolling Stones album.
