The 76-year-old actor has also been showing since Friday August 26 the superhero film The Samaritan (available on Prime Video), based on an original script and not a comic book.
It was in 2016 during the film Guardians of the Galaxy 2 that Stallone made his big debut in the Marvel superheroic universe; in the second part of the adventures of Star-Lord and his crew, Sly lends his features to Stakar Ogord, the captain of the Ravagers and former comrade in arms of Yondu. A secondary role in the plot, reduced to a handful of scenes, as well as a post-credits sequence.

It was again under the direction of James Gunn that Sylvester Stallone appeared in a second superhero film, produced this time by DC Comics. In The Suicide Squad, the interpreter of Rambo and Rocky has indeed lent his legendary tone of voice to the fearsome King Shark, a kind of man-shark as stupid as he is ferocious, member of the squad of super-villains led by Harley Quinn.
