Lsemantic schizophrenia wins in China. Political discourse and practical reality seem to be two truths that ignore each other. On the one hand, a glimmer of hope is reborn regarding the relaxation of certain health measures, announced in the wake of the 20e congress of the Chinese Communist Party, which was held in Beijing at the beginning of November. But on the other, the Covid, in the form of Omicron or other variants, continues to progress from city to city, giving rise to incessant closures of residential buildings, offices and businesses, including in the most major cities in the country such as Guangzhou, Beijing and Shanghai.
