After a nice public success in 2019, the Shrimps Pailletées team will be back next April in a second episode, a first teaser of which has just been unveiled.
They are back ! After conquering 580,000 French people 3 years ago in their first adventure, the Shrimps Paillettées will be reinvesting in cinemas from April 6, 2022.
In this second film, the water polo team on their way to the Tokyo Gay Games misses their match. Matthias, Alex, Damien and their friends then find themselves stuck in the depths of Russia, in a particularly homophobic region …
And if we are to believe the first images unveiled in the teaser above, the adventures of the small band should once again particularly amuse the spectators. The film clips are also interspersed with an eccentric choreography to the sound of a cover of the iconic song by Britney Spears Oops! … I Did It Again.
Still co-directed by Cédric Le Gallo and Maxime Govare and with Nicolas Gob, Michaël Abiteboul, David Baïot, Romain Lancry, Roland Menou, Geoffrey Couët, Romain Brau and Félix Martinez, this sequel entitled La Revanche des Crevettes Pailletées will be hit by the Alpe d’Huez Festival before its cinema release.
Will it convince again the jury which had rewarded the first film in 2019? Response at the end of the event on January 23.
