Here is the preventive message, sent this Monday by the leadership of the Socialist Party to all its federal executives and of which we have read: “We remind you that in accordance with article 1.2.3 of our statutes relating to “party loyalty”, “members of the party […] undertake to support only those candidates for elective office who are effectively endorsed or supported by the Socialist Party”. Our candidate, Anne Hidalgo, was appointed during the militant vote of October 14, 2021 and invested by the Party on October 23, 2021. Any member showing support for another candidate will therefore be deemed excluded. pursuant to article 4.3.3 of our statutes.”
