Between intrusive ex-spouses and a surprise that risks changing everything, Camille and Martin will do everything to succeed in uniting their two families. Frantic pace and funny situation, La Tribu is a funny and touching series which brilliantly manages to draw the viewer into much more dramatic moments, which bring depth to the characters played by Alix Poisson And Jonathan Zaccai. If humor takes precedence, the writers still tackle strong subjects which make the fiction more than a simple family series. La Tribu can be discovered soon on TF1

THE ENCHANTER

France Télévisions – 2.4.7. MAX – 2023

Synopsis : Just after the publication of La Vie avant soi, Romain Gary had his little cousin Paul Pavlowitch play Émile Ajar. The press, the editors, the readers, everyone falls for it. Well, almost everyone: Adèle, a literature student at La Sorbonne, originally from Nice (where Gary spent part of his childhood), is convinced that Émile Ajar and Romain Gary are one and the same writer. She goes to find Gary on rue du Bac where he lives, to confront him. Will she denounce him? Or will the enchanter manage to draw him into his illusion?

It is undoubtedly the greatest literary deception of the 20th century. For the second time, Romain Gary won the prestigious Goncourt prize but this time under the name of Emile Ajar. A writer with many names and faces, Romain Gary did not hesitate to become someone else in order to reinvent himself. Between deception and a true stroke of genius, he will have succeeded in fooling everyone except Adèle, a young literature student passionate about the writer. It is therefore this part of the story, which agitated the literary world in its time, that The Enchanter revisits in its own way with a certain humor. Directed by Philippe Lefebvre, with a screenplay by Maria Pourchet and François-Henri Desérable, L’Enchanteur is an exciting film directed by a simply excellent Charles Berling. The minutes pass and make us want to discover more and more about this author whose life is as whimsical as it is fascinating. The Enchanteur will soon be discovered on France 2

Thierry, mentally disabled since birth, raises his six-year-old daughter Luce alone. Both are united by the unconditional and unwavering love they have for each other. But soon, their lives will be turned upside down when Luce starts school for the first time and becomes aware of her father’s disability. Les Enchantés is a tender, delicate and poetic film, magnificently interpreted by Gregory Montel and Daphne Richard. Accomplices and moving, the two actors transport us without any difficulty in this story which has not left us indifferent without falling into pathos. In addition to the quality of the script and direction, the film avoids clichés in the representation of mental deficiency. A performance served by the interpretation of Gregory Montel who manages to create real empathy with the viewers. Les Enchantés, to be discovered soon on Arte.
