Louis, the eldest son of Cédric and Delphine Jubillar, was auditioned this Friday, December 3, for the second time, by the examining magistrates of Toulouse. He had already been heard on November 26. But this time, the words of the 7-year-old boy today could put his father, Cédric Jubillar, in difficulty. As reported by our colleagues from the Parisian, Louis says he witnessed, on the night of December 15 to 16, 2020, an argument between his parents. He had already mentioned in November what his father said to his mother: “Since it’s like that, we’re going to separate!”This time he added the response of his mother, who would have shouted at her husband Cédric:“Stop.”

Louis allegedly witnessed the scene while remaining hidden behind the half-open door to the living room, shortly after 23.00. This contradicts the statements of his father who always claimed not to have quarreled with his wife that evening, and to have fallen asleep before 10.30 pm. However the child, 6 years old at the time of the facts, is very precise. For him, the couple was near the Christmas tree. “It spoke loudly, I saw them”, He also indicated for the first time to the judges in charge of the case. According to him, the argument would have escalated, his father holding his mother by the shoulders, to the point that Louis decided to make noise to put an end to the tensions. The little boy would then go back to bed, quickly falling asleep. According to him, arguments between his parents were becoming more and more frequent.
Skeptical lawyers
These new statements therefore undermine Cédric Jubillar. His lawyers Me Emmanuelle Franck, Me Jean-Baptiste Alari and Me Alexandre Martin did not welcome the boy’s words. “If the accusation is made to want to hold the culpability of Cédric Jubillar on a 6-year-old child a year after the facts, it is because there really is nothing else”, Defended Me Alexandre Martin, reports Le Parisien. He also added that his client “disputes any involvement in the disappearance of his wife”. Cédric Jubillar’s lawyers plan to file a new release request for their client next week.
