the technical sheet is enriched with good and bad news

Several information has leaked about the Galaxy S24 expected for next January. Some are rather encouraging, while others are downright disappointing. We take stock.

The Galaxy S23 Ultra

You will take back a little Galaxy S24 ? We are still a few months away from their official presentation, expected in January 2024, but that does not stop the information from flowing in. Of course, they remain at the state of hypotheses. For example, the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s screen may be smaller than that of the S23 Ultra. Other good news has been put forward: the Galaxy S24+ would have better screen definition than its predecessor while the S24 range would benefit from a larger and more durable battery.

More recently, the recognized leaker Revegnusor @Tech_Reve on X (Twitter), shares several characteristics of future Samsung smartphones. It confirms that only the S24 Ultra will have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor worldwide. Remember that the standard S24 is expected to include an Exynos chip. Still according to him, the variants would be as follows:

  • Galaxy S24 and S24+ : 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage Or 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.
  • Galaxy S24 Ultra : 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage Or 16 GB of RAM and 2 TB of storage.

The distribution is surprising. It is more likely that the S24 and S24+ also offer a version 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage for example, even 1 TB. Regardless, the revelations don’t stop there and the ones that follow aren’t good.

The Galaxy S24 technical sheet is becoming clearer and some information is disappointing

While we expected Samsung to offer a maximum recharge at 65Wit’s the cold shower: it would be 25W for the S24 and of 45W for the two models above. No improvement at this level therefore. And the bad news continues.

This one comes from another reliable leaker, Ice Universe (@UniverseIce): Samsung could remove the 10x optical zoom on the S24 Ultra. However, he has since deleted his post, specifying that he had to explore the subject. Let’s hope this turns out to be false.

We repeat: all this information must be taken conditionally. Since they come from generally very well-informed sources, there is, however, a good chance that they will turn out to be accurate.
