The Intern is a hit on France 3! Season 7 ends this Tuesday, October 11, season 8 has already been filmed and season 9 is being written!
Season 7 of The trainee ends, this Tuesday, October 11 at 9 p.m. on France 3, with the broadcast of the last two episodes. For the occasion, Télé Star invites you to find out if a season 8 of the series with Michèle Bernier in the role of Constance Meyer is planned or not. And the answer is yes !
The filming of this season 8 has already taken place. The stars of the series met between April and July around Marseille to record six new episodes which should be broadcast on France 3 in 2023. In addition, Anne Holmes, director of programs and director of fiction at France Télévisions, told our colleagues from Allociné that season 9 was already being written.
Nicolas Marel: why will he be much less present in season 8
An eighth season of Intern in which Nicolas Marel, the interpreter of the prosecutor Vladimir Quiring, will be much less present after the departure of his character in Russia but also for medical reasons. “He’s going to come back, but we mustn’t say it! I will still be much less present than usual in the last episodes of the eighth season because I had a very bad Covid which forced me to interrupt filming It was the first time in my life that I took a work stoppage and that I was forced to do so, at the risk otherwise of losing my skin”, explained Nicolas Marel in the columns of Télé Star. On October 4, nearly 5 million viewers were ahead of the unreleased episodes of season 7 of The trainee on France 3, thus allowing the chain to be the leader of the evening, far ahead of Mask Singer on TF1.
