The facts go back to 2018, tells the Parisian. Aurélie S. takes care of Rose and her 4-year-old son at home when she calls for help. She then explains that the girl is not feeling well and that she has fallen from her arms. Doctors noted, however, that the child was the victim of shaking. The police are notified and quickly find inconsistencies in the story of the nanny.

She wanted her to shut up

Placed in police custody, Aurélie S. ends up confessing. The girl did not fall. “She threw the baby on the changing table, grabbed him by the feet with his head in the air, smothered him against her, slapped him on the back of the head, pulled him by the hair…”, relates the daily. The former nanny absolutely wanted little Rose to be silent. The baby was found unconscious… and never woke up again.

Later, she will come back to her version and lock herself in her lie. One way for her not to be confronted with the “horror” that she committed, she would have confided to her sister, always according to the Parisian.

A long-awaited trial

Today, the parents of little Rose are impatiently waiting for the nanny to be tried. For Marie, the mother of the little girl, this will allow her to “To mourn what happened” to her baby. “Mourning for her, I’ll never manage,” she admits. We are still in pain, the wound will never heal. But we want to try to remember only the good things ”, she explains in the columns of the daily. If the mother hopes for a heavy sentence for Aurélie S., the father of the child just hopes that she will be condemned. They want to understand what happened in the mind of the nanny on the day of the tragedy.

This is what is at stake in the trial, during which the court will examine the childhood of the accused. She herself was reportedly abused and placed in a foster home. She would have done this job to “repair” the violence she suffered as a child. “His abused childhood is not our problem. She, one day, will get out of prison and find her son. We have lost our baby forever ”, say the parents of the girl.

The trial is due to take place until Wednesday, June 2.
