The grand finale of "The Voice of Germany" will take place this Sunday. These finalists and guest stars are there.

The finale of the anniversary season of "The Voice of Germany" will take place next Sunday, December 20th, from 8:15 pm live on Sat.1 and on Joyn. After the blind auditions, battles, sing-offs and the semi-finals, five candidates made it to the final show. There they get support from prominent musicians.

The finalists and teams

The successor to last year's winner Claudia Emmanuela Santoso (20) wants to be Paula Dalla Corte (19) from the team Samu Haber (44) and Rea Garvey (47). "I think it's crazy that I get through lap after lap. It's crazy. I never expected that," said the Swiss from Tägerwilen after the semi-finals. "We just have fun on stage. Especially at a time like this, it's extremely helpful because you want to switch off from all the crap," said the happy duo Mael (19) and Jonas (25) from Team Nico Santos (27) about her final.

Oliver Henrich (39) from Wülfrath, who had already left and replaced Stefanie Kloß (36) and Yvonne Catterfeld (41) for the sick Noah Sam, is flabbergasted by his trip: "I don't know how I feel – I do was already out, then in again, then out again, now in the final. It's unbelievable. " For Alessandro Pola (30) from Michael Schulte's (30) comeback stage team, it is "really nice to know that all of my students have probably called quite often," said the teacher from Karlsruhe. "It's a strange feeling and everything goes so quickly. I probably still won't have processed it in the final," said finalist Tosari Udayana (19) from Hanover, who competes for Mark Forster's (37) team.

The guest stars

The finalists receive competent support: five guest stars will perform with them. Former coach Michael Patrick Kelly (43) will perform his song "Beautiful Madness" with Mael and Jonas from Koblenz. On the other hand, Zoe Wees (18) – in 2017 in the children's version "The Voice Kids" took part in the show as a talent. She will perform her world hit "Control" together with thoroughbred rocker Oliver Henrich.

There is also pop singer Sarah Connor (40), who will take the stage with the Swiss power voice Paula Dalla Corte. Together they sing "Bye Bye" from Connor's album "Herz Kraft Werke (Special Deluxe Version)". On the other hand, the velvet voice of Tosari Uduyana will create a Christmas atmosphere. He performs the song "Someday at Christmas" with soul singer Joy Denalane (47), who was already a guest coach in the Sing-Offs. The star line-up is completed by the winner of the Eurovision Song Contest from last year, the Dutchman Duncan Laurence (26). With Alessandro Pola he will reinterpret his winning song "Arcade".
