The series of novels about the “Legends of Grisha” follows the protagonist Alina, a simple cartographer in the First Army of the Tsar of Ravka. She secretly raves about her childhood friend Maljen, whose life she inexplicably saved in an attack. This is how the magical and military elite of the fictional realm, the Grisha, become aware of the girl.

“Shadow and Bone” Stafel 2 has already been ordered by Netflix and will be released in 2022. In the new episodes, the sun warrior Alina Starkov has to fight the dark and help the Grisha.

The British Netflix ‘historical drama “The Last Kingdom” was released in 2015 on the streaming service. It is based on the books “The Uhtred Saga” by Bernard Cornwell and tells of the conflict between the Anglo-Saxons and Vikings in the ninth and tenth centuries.
