Basil Eidenbenz (27, "Athena") has landed a special role. The Swiss will be seen alongside Henry Cavill (37) in the Netflix series "The Witcher" as a donkey, as reported by the US industry portal "Variety". However, due to the corona pandemic and the postponement of the shooting schedule, he had to leave the cast. Eskel is a longtime friend of the main character Geralt von Rivia (Henry Cavill).

Among other things, Eidenbenz attended the European Film Actor School and appeared in the Swiss film production "Liebling let's divorce" for the first time in 2009. He later appeared in the series "Best Friends" (2010-2012), "Victoria" (2016) or "The Athena" (2018-2019).
