The Witcher on Netflix: a character beloved by fans joins the new season without Henry Cavill


The fourth season of “The Witcher”, in which Henry Cavill is replaced by Liam Hemsworth, will welcome one of the fans’ favorite characters from the books.

Despite the departure of Henry Cavill, The Witcher series continues on Netflix. After a season 3 in two parts, the series adapted from the books by Andrzej Sapkowski will return for at least two additional bursts of episodes with a new face to play Geralt of Rivia: Liam Hemsworth.

The Australian actor will have the difficult task of succeeding the former Superman in the role of the Witcher, who left to save Ciri (Freya Allan), or the girl everyone thinks is Ciri, from the clutches of Nilfgaard at the end of season 3. The American actor and comedian, who also starred in the series Charmed, Angel, Monk and Lois and Clark, will play a character adored by fans of the novels and video games. Danny Woodburn will indeed slip into the shoes of Zoltan Chivay.
