- In “The Witcher” comes movement.
- Filming of the third season of the fantasy series has started in Italy and Slovenia.
- Geralt can also count on a new four-legged friend.
At Christmas 2021, the 2nd season of “The Witcher” was released on Netflix with great success. Of course, viewers and fans want a sequel soon. And for the 3rd edition of the witcher series, filming has now also started, as can be seen from some social media posts and on-site observations.
“The Witcher” star Henry Cavill (plays monster hunter Geralt von Riva), for example, posted a picture of his new “roach” for season 3 on Instagram. Reliable “The Witcher” source Redanian Intelligence has also learned more about the start of filming. Accordingly, Henry Cavill and Freya Allan (plays Ciri) are initially in front of the camera in Slovenia and northern Italy for the Netflix series. For example, scenes will be created at the picturesque Laghi di Fusine in Italy.
After that, the border is crossed into Slovenia and the Predjama Cave Castle serves as “The Witcher” backdrop. Even after that, beautiful landscapes stand for the medieval fantasy world of the continent. For example, “The Witcher” producer Steve Gaub shared this picture on Instagram:
When the third season of “The Witcher” will appear on Netflix, we can’t say exactly at the moment. However, it will probably be the beginning of 2023. Before The Witcher Season 3, the prequel miniseries The Witcher: Blood Origin will be available on Netflix later this year.
