“High at the beginning was a problem”
Bayern striker himself took the brake on his career

Arp reported that the time spent with the Hamburg SV professionals as a 17-year-old was not good for his development. “Perhaps I should have turned all the praise into self-confidence more consistently. It actually slowed me down,” said the youngest Bundesliga scorer in the Hamburg club’s history. “The most important part of my game is self-confidence, from which a self-image emerges in the game that may differentiate me from other players. Without it, I lose my greatest strength, then it doesn’t work,” said Arp, saying that he didn’t have with it can handle sitting on the bench at once.
