A little message for PS5 and PS4 players subscribed to PlayStation Plus Extra or Premium, 11 games will disappear tomorrow. Last chance to try them.
The last PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium games of the year are here. Starting tomorrow, 14 new productions will join the catalog of the two formulas, headlined by a certain GTA 5, the souls-like Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin and the excellent French indie game Tinykin. However, these entries are accompanied by exits. So you only have a few hours left to test large productions before they leave the service.
Last chance for these 11 Playstation Plus Extra games
This Tuesday, December 19, PS Plus Extra will lose several big games, some of which are from real landmark licenses. It’s impossible not to mention the departures of the two episodes of Middle-earth (Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War). A saga that left its mark on the industry thanks to its Nemesis system, so innovative that Warner patented its concept. As a reminder, it gives an identity to each enemy via an AI allowing them to evolve in case they manage to kill the player. These aren’t the only departures from the important PlayStation Plus Extra. SEGA continues to slowly remove episodes of the Yakuza series. In December 2023, the sixth part and Like a Dragon will no longer be accessible. So last hours to try them out, see if you’re hooked on the universe or not.
However, there are PlayStation Plus Extra releases that you can complete before the deadline. We must naturally turn to independent productions. On the one hand, Foreclosed, a TPS taking place in a cyberpunk universe with a particularly pretty comic book style, which will take you less than three hours to see the end of. Even prettier, El Hijo A Wild West Tale is a little Spanish spaghetti western game in which a 6-year-old boy tries to find his mother. It will take almost double the playing time, but this production is much more exciting. For the rest, here is the complete list of games which will leave PS Plus Extra and Premium tomorrow at 11 a.m.

No time to give it a chance or finish these 11 games? No problem, you can already prepare for the next wave of releases. The January 2024 departures are in fact already known and there are some nuggets in the lot. Starting with It Takes Two, the unmissable cooperative game of 2022. Alongside it also Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition, including the possibility of playing Vergil as well as new features. Here are the games that will leave PlayStation Plus Extra on January 16:
