They have time to grow, to evolve in life and then to understand certain things. I don’t blame them at all. We don’t understand everything when we’re their age.”, he estimated. Assuring that there was no point in forcing things, the father of three added: “When you’ve heard things all your life, you’re obviously not very inclined to go there at first. But they know, I’ve said it enough, that my door is open. They’re my sisters, I loves and when they are ripe and ready, they will always be well received so there is no problem”. In his autobiography Best album (ed. Le Cherche midi), published on November 23, 2023, David Hallyday had already taken a step towards his half-sisters. “Everyone knows that I haven’t seen them much, but I would like them to be sure of the love I have for them and which is not an affection of principle“he wrote before specifying that Jade and Joy Hallyday were his “full sisters, without the slightest nuance”.
