Thierry Mugler died on Sunday at the age of 73. Very saddened by the disappearance of the famous designer, many personalities wanted to pay tribute to the one who had reigned over the fashion of the 1980s, and still continued to dress the stars with his sophisticated outfits with hyper-structured silhouettes.

Singer Diana Ross shared a photo with the French designer on Twitter at one of his shows in Paris in 1990, captioning: “I will miss you, Thierry Mugler, it was a wonderful time in our lives”.

“Rest in peace, Thierry Mugler,” wrote singer Beyonce, alongside a black and white photo of the designer.

On Instagram, Kourtney Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian also shared their grief upon hearing the sad news. Kourtney shared a photo of her sisters, Khloe, Kim, Kylie and Kendall, and their mother, Kris, all dressed in Mugler designs.
Singer Dua Lipa – who wore a custom Mugler jumpsuit for her Studio2054 live concert in 2020 – shared a black and white snap of Mugler and captioned the post with heartbroken emojis. “A man who, through his talent, knew how to sublimate everything he touched. Despite the deep sadness … it’s a chance to have known him, ”wrote Chantal Thomas on Instagram.
“Gone too soon… The God of fashion… A gentle, genuine, kind man. We will miss you,” said Irina Shayk, while Linda Evangelista, one of the great couturier’s muses, contented herself with the letters “RIP” on Instagram.
Former reality TV star Cindy Sander is also mourning the death of her mentor Thierry Mugler, who took her under his wing after her humiliation on La Nouvelle Star in 2008. “Today my heart is heavy, you you were my star, the one who believed in me when no one else believed.
