Considerably more powerful, the OneXfly is also almost 100 grams lighter than the Steam Deck of Valve.

OneNetbook is a Chinese company still little known in our latitudes. It is trying to make a name for itself through several console/PC hybrids with very distinct assets.

Thus, only a few days ago, we mentioned the case of the OneXplayer 2, a portable console whose main interest is modularity in order to make the beast as versatile as possible.

Today, OneNetbook is already presenting a new machine, the OneXfly, which should soon benefit from a crowdfunding campaign on the Indiegogo platform. Like its big sister, the OneXfly is based on the latest generation of AMD APUs, but this time it is confirmed that it is the Ryzen 7 7840U which has been chosen by the manufacturer.

On the other hand, OneNetbook displays this time more modest dimensions on many points. The OneXfly effectively keeps the same screen diagonal as the Steam Deck and other ROG Ally (7 inches). The image definition (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) and the refresh rate (120 Hz) are also very close to those of the ASUS machine.

Exactly 580 grams

On the other hand, OneNetbook has worked hard to make its machine even lighter and more comfortable than the ROG Ally. Thus, while ASUS has already made efforts to reach 608 grams, the OneXfly is displayed at 580 grams.

The interest is obviously to make the machine more pleasant to use, while the weight of the Steam Deck (669 grams) is often singled out despite a good general balance. It is also this point that will be monitored when the OneXfly console is launched, because for the rest, the machine does not really innovate and is very similar to products such as those announced by AOKZOE for example (AOKZOE A2).

In fact, it is a Ryzen 7 7840U that we will find within the two machines, with its 8 Zen 4 cores and its 12 RDNA 3 calculation units. In both cases too, the design seems to give pride of place to elegance with products without any visible screws. Alas, the two models also seem to ignore the pallets on the back of the machine.

Of course, it remains to know the launch date and the price of the OneXfly. It is useful to remember that ASUS and especially Valve have put all their weight in the balance to display prices as low as possible.
