Audience records fall regularly on Netflix, often acknowledging the work of foreign directors. But now a Franco-Belgian series has shaken up the charts since it was put online a few days ago…

And you, what did you do for Halloween? If you haven’t opted for the family meal or the evening with friends, you may have chosen to sink into the sofa to watch a series. There were choices for this night of horror on netflixincluding several new features including The Watcheran enigmatic thriller co-signed by Ryan Murphy to whom we owe American Horror Story Where Ratched. Or Dahmerwhich arouses as much enthusiasm as it annoys certain spectators… In the end, neither of these two productions attracted as much as The Fighters. Indeed, the mini-series co-produced by TF1 and RTBF achieves very good audiences since it was put online on the platform.

The Fighters landed on Netflix on October 28 and is already ranking number 2 thus being more viewed over three days than The Watcher Where Dahmer who held the rope until then. First place goes to Cabinet of curiosities by Guillermo del Toro who seduces fans of great fissons.

A first success on television!

The Fighters was first broadcast on TF1 at the start of the school year. Eight episodes were offered each Tuesday evening from September 13 to October 10, each time bringing together around 5 million viewers. A great success ! Camille Trainer and Cécile Lorne’s bet was to federate around the fate of four very different women torn apart by the First World War.
