Indeed, the aid paid by the Family Allowance Fund (CAF) depend on your resources for year N-2. Each year, the CAF therefore collects your resources between August and October from the taxes, to find out whether or not you are eligible for different aids. For the year 2022, your 2020 resources were taken into account. For 2023, these are now the resources for 2021. If you think that CAF is not aware of this information, go to your personal space, section Declare my annual resources.
Consider doing a simulation to assert your rights
Whatever, consideration of new resource ceilings is therefore the right time to do a simulation and find out what aid you can claim. To do this, you must log in to your personal space, under My procedures. According to a recent study by the DREES, one in three households eligible for the RSA, or 600,000 households, does not claim active solidarity income from CAF. They lose an average of 330 euros per month.
