Casually, in November 2023, the PS5 will blow out its third candle. In the life cycle of a console, you could say that the machine is halfway through. This is why many leakers and industry experts agree thata new version of the console will be announced very soon. For the moment, two proposals are mainly coming back: a PS5 Slim, lighter and more compact, and of course, the PS5 Pro, a more powerful and armed version for 8K.

For the time being, Sony has not made any official announcement, which does not prevent some leakers from disclosing certain information on these hypothetical machines. For example, and according to Tom Henderson, journalist and renowned leaker who officiates on the Insider Gaming site, the PS5 Pro could arrive in 2024. The latest revelation to date on the PS5 Pro is from RedGamingTech. According to the Youtubeur, the console could cost at least 700 € when it is released. A price far from unimaginable, knowing that the PS5 is currently displayed at a price of 550 € in France (excluding temporary promotion).

Here’s what the PS5 Pro could look like

In the meantime, no one really knows what the PS5 Pro might look like. Concept Creator, a Youtuber specializing in the creation of 3D design (especially on smartphones), has decided to play the game. Indeed, he has just published on his official channel a first 3D concept of Sony’s future console.

As you can see on the 2-minute video available below, the general design remains in line with that of the PS5. Nevertheless, there are some modifications. First of all, this machine seems smaller than its big sisterwhile the characteristic curvatures of the side parts have been reduced. LED indicators are always present and run centrally across the entire device.

On the connector side, Concept Creator has chosen to integrate two USB-C ports on the front of the console. The most significant change has been made to the Blu-Ray drive, which is here installed in the center of the machine, between the two shells. We then find a design quite close to the PS5 Digital Edition, which as a reminder does not have a Blu-Ray player unlike the classic PS5 (the device occupies part of the right shell). And you, what is your opinion on the design of the PS5 Pro proposed by Concept Creator? Tell us in the comments.
