We were divided between Elliott and Emmett. We posted a message on Reddit’s Name Nerds forum to explain the situation and the majority of Internet users preferred Emmett”, explains the mother. Thanks to the advice of Internet users, the parents therefore opted for the first name Emmett.

If the first name was popular on the Internet, it did not really meet with the same enthusiasm among his family. The newborn’s grandmother just grimaced and said: “it’s different”. One of his sisters who had received a photo of the birth certificate replied: “Are you serious?
