After spending years away from the competitive scene of League of LegendsTryndamere became a much-loved champion among professional players due to his power. However, all the positive opinions about the champion stop if we focus on his gameplay. The community rated the champion as one of the most frustrating in the game and currently considers its mechanics to be some of the most outdated and least entertaining in gaming.
Faker shows the best and worst of Tryndamere
During a game on Day 3 of the 2022 LCK Spring Split, Faker more or less guaranteed victory to his team, precisely thanks to the good Tryndamere, in particular during a teamfight which took place in the 27th minute – a team confrontation where he obtained three eliminations, just by using the damage of attacks of his champion, his ultimate and his E.
Why does this play slightly cringe?
Because he has used his E three times, to then come out almost unscathed from the fight.
Although Faker is generally cited as one of the benchmarks in terms of individual skills, the reality is that this particular play says more about the champion than the Korean star. Tryndamere’s status is enviable among League of Legends characters: with a win rate of more than 52% in midlane and top lane.
Riot Games is aware of the situation and recently added Tryndamere to the community selectable champions to receive an overhaul. That said, even if the players vote for him: we shouldn’t expect any changes until early next year 2023 . A very long period that will test the patience of LoL players if Riot Games does not take the necessary measures to avoid the obvious problems in its gameplay.
