Warzone’s trophy system is great for deflecting explosives coming at you, but one player recently found an unusual use for this combat buff that easily dislodges campers.
Warzone was released almost two years ago now, but players are always finding new ways to adapt and improve.
And recently, a player discovered a clever way to eliminate campers on Rebirth Island.
The trophy system is generally used to protect vehicles from explosions in Warzone.
Reddit user ‘DefunctHunk_COD’ shared this clever revealing: “The enemy baited me with a trophy system. Movement at 200 IQ.”
In the video shared by this player, we can see him moving forward while aiming for the stairs on the south side of Rebirth Island’s prison.
Preparing for a fight against one or more opponents, DefunctHunk_COD saw a trophy system appear which destabilized him for a split second, allowing enemies to suddenly climb the stairs to easily eliminate him.
“This guy is on another level, wow.” declares an impressed player in the comments. “I would have fallen for it too, I can’t even lie.another player revealed.
We don’t know if this was a stroke of genius or a fluke, but this experience can be easily replicated by players of all skill levels. Just simply throw a trophy system in a room to distract the enemy, then immediately follow it to easily kill your target.
We don’t recommend doing this with armor boxes or ammo crates though, as their explosive nature can only benefit the enemy.
