This youtuber abandons her autistic adopted son

A famous American youtuber, Myka Stauffer, announced that she had decided to separate from her autistic adopted son, Huxley, by entrusting him to another family. This shocking announcement sparked strong reactions on social media.

Youtuber Myka Stauffer and her husband James recently announced that they are separating from their autistic baby boy, adopted three years earlier in China. Little Huxley was entrusted to another family. The couple said the boy's behavior problems made life too difficult for the family., which includes four other children.

Huxley has not appeared in the couple's videos for several weeks. Myka Stauffer and her husband then spoke on social networks to explain his absence. "After several assessments, many health professionals felt that he needed a different accommodation to his medical needs, he needed more (…) Several frightening things happened inside the house with our other children"they said saying that the little boy "is very happy, he's doing very well, and his new mom has professional medical training and it's a very good fit."

The couple has been sharing videos on their family life since 2014 and the channel Youtube Myka Stauffer's has 700,000 subscribers.
In 2017, they adopted a baby boy in China after a period of hesitation when the adoption agency warned them that Huxley had "brain damage ". This adoption was funded through sponsored videos. The couple had also asked their subscribers to donate $ 5 to support their son, while promising to write the names of the donors in a baby book.
In September 2019, the youtuber revealed that her son had autism. A few weeks later, his followers noticed that the little boy no longer appeared on the videos.

After the young woman confessed to having entrusted the child to another family for "his emotional well-being", Internet users have not failed to show their indignation.
