Singer Thomas Anders (58) is currently taking a break in Ibiza with his son Alexander (19). But during a father-son tour, their off-road vehicle caught fire and burned out within a very short time. They both got away in shock.

Anders posted numerous pictures on Instagram showing the accident. To a picture of the burning car, the singer writes: “I was very lucky.” A video, which was recorded from a distance and shows how the SUV burns brightly, Anders left uncommented. As well as five more photos of the completely burned-out wreck.

“We are unharmed”

Since Anders apparently received numerous inquiries about his state of health, Anders got in touch, this time with us a long account of the eventsto speak again later. “The shock is of course still a bit in the bones, but first of all the most important thing: We are unharmed and ok,” writes the musician in his latest post, which shows him with his son, on Instagram.

The bonnet suddenly started smoking heavily on her father-son tour and the gas pedal was also defective. “With the presence of mind we let the car roll out of the lane on the right and left the already heavily smoking car as quickly as possible. The car was on fire within a few minutes and we had to watch our car burn down to the basic body in front of our eyes,” Anders continued.

The cause is still unclear

What triggered the fire is still unclear at the moment: “Whether it was a technical defect, a short circuit or a cable fire, the police will now determine in the final report.” However, since not much was left of her car, it could also be that the cause is never found. “The fact is, and I am very happy that we both had great guardian angels,” explains Anders.
