Thomas Gottschalk and partner Karina Mroß are looking forward to a very special Christmas this year. They spend the holidays together as a blended family for the first time. The lady of the house personally takes care of the physical well-being.

After the couple returned from vacation on the third weekend in Advent, including their attachments, the first Christmas is now on as a blended family. Thomas Gottschalk, 71, and his sweetheart, Karina Mroß, 59, are celebrating the holidays this year together with Gottschalk’s son Roman, 39, whose wife Melissa, 34, and their son Sebastian, 2. Karina’s 26-year-old daughter Melinda is also said to be be part of the party.

Thomas Gottschalk and Karina Mroß rely on German traditions

The family relies on German traditions and comfort. As “Bild” reports, Karina Mroß will swing the wooden spoon herself on Christmas Eve. Champagne starts at 4 p.m., after which the 59-year-old serves beef broth, zucchini carpaccio and goose with dumplings and red cabbage. Vanilla chocolate mousse is available for dessert.

Fondue on Christmas Day

The entertainer’s grandson is, of course, particularly looking forward to receiving presents after dinner. “Little Sebastian in particular can hardly wait,” reveals Karina. On Christmas Day her family comes and “we go out to eat cheese and meat fondue”.

Thomas and Thea Gottschalk

Sounds like the “Wetten, dass ..?!” Moderator is about to celebrate a contemplative celebration with his loved ones. He has been in a relationship with Karina Mroß since 2019. The year before, he had separated from his wife Thea, 75, after 43 years.
