However, for reasons of investigation tactics, we do not want to reveal any details about the specific content of the letter,” explains police spokesman Mario Nemetz. Nothing happened, but an intensive investigation is being carried out to identify the author of the letter,” says Nemetz: “It should be clarified what the stranger intended with the letter and what threat is behind it.” At the beginning of March, a warning call was made to the police seven times because bomb threats had been sent to various schools, which a little later turned out to be false alarms. Planned attack on Vienna Pride It was not until the end of June that three young people are said to have planned an attack on the rainbow parade in Vienna. The suspects (14, 17 and 20) were arrested during a house search shortly before the start of the event. All three were released shortly after agreeing to take part in a deradicalisation programme.
