Placed under judicial supervision, these managers of establishments located in Varennes-sur-Allier (Allier), Saint-Flour (Cantal) and Luc La Primaube (Aveyron) are suspected of having issued more than 150 Caces (Certificate of aptitude for driving in safety) without certified training, indicated in a press release the public prosecutor of Cusset Eric Neveu.
“Scam” and “concealed work”
The manager of the Varennes-sur-Allier driving school training center was indicted on Thursday in particular for “fraud», «hidden work” and “use of an inaccurate attestation or certificate“. The managers of the driving schools of Saint-Flour and Luc La Primaube were indicted for “false in an administrative document» «false in writing” and “complicity in fraud“. They risk 7 years in prison and a fine of 100,000 euros.
The Caces is a certificate of aptitude which allows you to drive machines such as a crane, a lifting platform, a self-propelled trolley, a traveling crane, etc. The training provided in the centers concerned was carried out by unauthorized and sometimes undeclared persons. Other customers received the document without even having taken any training or taken any tests. False invoices were provided to them.

The case began in March 2021 with an inspection by the operational anti-fraud committee (Colaf) in the Varennes-sur-Allier establishment, which noted “multiple offenses“, according to the prosecution.
