Three slightly injured – Tyrol: Mountain rescuers have an accident on the way to the site

On the way to the scene at Reintalersee (Tyrol), the driver of a mountain rescue car lost control of the vehicle in a curve on Saturday. It fell over and the six-person team was able to free itself.

On Saturday around 11:00 a.m., six members of the “Kramsach area” mountain rescue center were in a car on their way to an emergency in the Reintalersee area consequently slid with the right side of the vehicle towards the embankment on the uphill side. The car consequently lifted off towards the embankment (pavement), came to a standstill briefly on the embankment and then tipped backwards sideways onto the roadway, where it came to rest on the right-hand side of the vehicle .All members of the mountain rescue team were able to free themselves, three emergency services sustained minor injuries as a result of the accident. After receiving first aid, the injured were taken to the hospital in Kufstein, where they were released after outpatient treatment. The vehicle suffered serious damage. The Kramsach volunteer fire brigade was deployed with three vehicles. The Unterinntalstraße was completely closed in the area of ​​​​the accident site for about an hour. A local diversion has been set up.
