Timur Ülker and Valentina Pahde: What connects the "GZSZ" stars in real life

Valentina Pahde (25) not only had to do without her twin sister Cheyenne during the corona isolation, the 25-year-old was also temporarily separated from her "good times, bad times" colleagues. Like many other shows and series, the corona pandemic had brought the "GZSZ" filming to a standstill for a short time. Since April 20, the shooting has started again as usual. For Pahde, her private life came first in the non-shooting period: "I cooked, baked and made phone calls a lot. I've never had so much time to call friends and family".

Series partner Timur Ülker (30) has also devoted himself to his girlfriend Caroline Steinhof (30) and their children in the past four weeks. "We did our best to make the time for the little ones as carefree as possible."

Teamwork on the "GZSZ" set

In addition to the close relationship with family and friends, Pahde and Ülker also share their work attitude: "Without teamwork, 'GZSZ' would not work. We always stick together and support each other – in front of and behind the camera," enthuses Pahde. Ülker adds: "As an actor and businessman, I know that with a strong team and in the right environment, you can actually achieve a lot of what you set out to do."

Accordingly, the characters Nihat and Sunny join forces in the series as business partners. As part of a cooperation between RTL and Eon, they are also ambassadors for the Eon Plus program, with which customers can pool their energy contracts with friends or relatives, save money and do something for the environment with green electricity.

Together for more sustainability

The subject of sustainability is also very important to Pahde personally: "I pay attention to energy-saving electrical appliances in the household, use LED light, do without aluminum entirely and currently eat vegan or vegetarian." They also advocate "renewable energies that relieve our planet". As a father of two, Ülker can only agree: "We only have this one planet. I always try to repair or recycle broken things before they are replaced." Ülker summarizes: "Working together with others, you can achieve more," be even more efficient and at the same time act more sustainably ":" Communities should be smart, modern and environmentally conscious. In this way, they can effectively promote the idea of sustainability. "

Happy anniversary with the cult series

"GZSZ" celebrated the 7000th episode just a few weeks ago – a real milestone. No other series on German television has more episodes. But what is the secret of success of "GZSZ"? "This is of course the best kept secret," laughs Valentina Pahde. "However, I think that with our captivating stories we always manage to develop characters and stories that the audience can identify with."

For Ülker, the series' recipe for success consists of many ingredients. "On the one hand, two essential points are the well-rehearsed team – and this really applies to all areas of production. On the other hand, I find it very important to address socially critical issues. The authors are great," enthuses the actor.
