To get the Fisker Ocean at the best price, you must order your electric car now

Fisker is adapting the prices of its different variants of the Fisker Ocean. Some prices are increasing, others are decreasing. This is what we must remember from these changes planned for some only after November 5.

Unlike Tesla, which always surprises with its unpredictable yo-yo on prices, some manufacturers display slightly more civilized methods. This is the case of the manufacturer Fisker, which warns in a press release that increases in certain prices will be applied from November 6. This still leaves a few days to fall for the Fisker Ocean Sport, if some people are still hesitant.

If the increase in the entry-level price is never good news, the drop in other versions should delight those who are interested in it.

An increase in the “Sport” version of the Fisker Ocean

This isn’t the biggest price change, but it’s certainly the increase that will stand out the most. The Fisker Ocean Sport finish will increase to €43,990 on November 6, whereas when it was announced, the model was priced from €41,990 (or €42,880 once delivery costs are added). You can take advantage of the old price until November 5 inclusive.

Deliveries of this finish have not yet started, but it is a shame to see that Fisker will not have managed to maintain its attractive price for longer. However, it was one of his promises to counter Chinese competition. Despite this increase, the model will still (theoretically) remain eligible for the bonus in 2024 thanks to its production in Austria.

The Fisker Ocean Sport version is the entry-level version of the model with a single engine. It is equipped with an LFP chemistry battery (compared to NMC for other finishes) which allows you to travel up to 465 km according to WLTP standards. Detailed characteristics have not been communicated. This version does not benefit from certain specific equipment developed for the model.

Fisker wants to adjust its prices without depreciating its vehicles or harming its customers. An appreciable approach which is often criticized by Tesla during each of its price changes (downwards). Sales volumes are also not the same between the two brands.

Customers of the Extreme version will be refunded the overpayment

The Ultra version will be priced at €57,990 instead of €58,840. The price of €59,500 visible on the manufacturer’s website does not take into account delivery and start-up costs. This version is a little better equipped than the sport version. It has two motors and a larger NMC battery allowing a range of 690 km.

Finally, the more high-end version, Extrême, is the one whose price has suffered the biggest drop: €6,340 less. This adjustment to €64,590 will not be to the detriment of customers who have already ordered or received a Fisker Ocean Extreme. Fisker agrees to reimburse the difference, an unusual gesture in the current context.
