Tom Cruise: He raves about Christopher Nolan's new film "Tenet"

Tom Cruise goes into raptures with Christopher Nolan's new film "Tenet". He went to a cinema show in London.

Cinema fans are eagerly awaiting Christopher Nolan's (50, "Inception") new blockbuster "Tenet". Hollywood star Tom Cruise (58) is no exception. The actor attended a performance in a London cinema on Tuesday (August 25). Cruise is currently in front of the camera for the seventh part of his "Mission: Impossible" series of actions in Great Britain.

"Big film. Big screen. I loved it," comments the 58-year-old a video on Twittershowing him on a trip to the cinema. With mouth and nose protection in an exemplary manner, the actor lets himself be driven by a black taxi through central London to a cinema. "Here we are, back in the cinema," he says happily upon arrival. After the performance in a packed cinema, he enthuses: "It's great to be in a cinema again."

Fans recognized him despite the mask

During his taxi ride through the British capital, the Hollywood star also passed Buckingham Palace. To his surprise, he was recognized by several cyclists when he stopped at a traffic light and photographed with his cell phone. "How does that work? I'm wearing a mask?" Cruise asks the camera in astonishment.

"Tenet" by the British star director Christopher Nolan also opens in German cinemas on August 27th. Actually, the Nolan epic should have been in the cinemas on July 17th, but due to the worldwide corona pandemic, this date was initially postponed to July 31st and later to August 12th. The main roles include Robert Pattinson (34), John David Washington (36) and Michael Caine (87).
