Tom Jones: He wants to be on stage until the "last breath"

A life without music? Unthinkable for Tom Jones. And so Mister "Sex Bomb" only wants to be retired from death himself.

Even at the age of 80, musician Sir Tom Jones ("Gold") has no thoughts of retirement. Rather, death would have to send him personally, the Welshman said in an interview with the British daily "The Mirror": "I want to do this to the last breath in my body," he promises to his fans around the world.

For him, music and the spotlight have become a part of life, and since the 1960s he has enchanted with his unique voice. While most people struggle with aging, he treats it pragmatically: "What is the alternative?" He "has no objection to getting older", because this gives him more and more great memories.
