Tom Kaulitz and Heidi Klum: They are bringing Christmas forward this year

“Your Christmas” is the name of the band Tokio Hotel’s first Christmas single (since 2001). The four musicians celebrate the release on Amazon Music in Instagram stories. “Our Christmas Song is out” says singer Bill Kaulitz (34) happily in the Instagram stories on the band account – twin brother Tom Kaulitz (34), bassist Georg Listing (36) and drummer Gustav Schäfer (35) join in the cheers. You can also see background stories about the filming of the music clip, interview snippets or backstage footage.

The band gave a first taste of it a few days ago. To two photos that show Christmas decorations at night, the four musicians posted on Instagram the question: “What are we doing here?” The added link leads to a funny Christmas clip, in which singer Bill has to watch in horror as the other band members don’t take his beloved Christmas quite so seriously. “Celebrate Christmas with your loved ones,” was the rather ironic comment.

Christmas with the families

In an interview with RTL The artists then revealed a few details about their own Christmas celebrations. The most surprising thing is that Tom Kaulitz, wife Heidi Klum (50) and their children are celebrating Christmas earlier this year. “For example, this year we are celebrating Christmas ten days early,” says Tom. However, his brother Bill, who traditionally also celebrates in Los Angeles, is not so enthusiastic about it. “I don’t think that’s nice […] Tom and Heidi told me yesterday in the kitchen: ‘Oh, by the way, Christmas is already on the 15th this year.'” That way it fits better into their busy schedules.

Drummer Gustav is celebrating with his family in Germany, but he is already expecting the annual call from Tom. One of the things the phone call always involves is the recipe for the famous Christmas duck from the amateur chef Gustav.
