Tomorrow belongs to us: Martin’s romantic future, injured Nordine… Franck Monsigny’s revelations about the next episodes

A year after his separation from Virginie, Commander Constant will soon find love again in “Tomorrow belongs to us”. Franck Monsigny tells us more about his character’s love life and his relationship with Nordine in the rest of the series.

Since breaking up with Virginie Corkas (Audrey Looten) a year ago, Martin (Franck Monsigny) has been a heart to take in Tomorrow belongs to us. However, if he had tried to find love again in Johanna’s arms, she unfortunately turned out to be a scammer.

Despite this failure, Martin does not seem to have given up and the future could well end up smiling at him during the next episodes of the daily soap opera of TF1. Franck Monsigny, his interpreter, tells us more about the romantic future of his character but also about his relationship with Nordine (Youcef Agal) who promises to strengthen following a terrible tragedy.

Allociné: What assessment have you made since your arrival in Tomorrow belongs to us?

Frank Monsigny : I don’t know who said that at TF1, but Martin has the most “What the fuck” course in Tomorrow belongs to us. And we wonder what else can happen. It’s true that after five years, things are still happening. I think it is still too early to make a point but in any case, it is a very constructive temporary assessment which has brought me a lot. Martin is a character who gave me a lot as a man and to whom I gave too. We sort of met with Martin.

What awaits Martin in the next episodes?

From an intimate point of view, Nordine will push Martin not to be alone. We will also find Martin involved in police investigations from near and far and more particularly in one that will affect him personally. Indeed, Nordine will be shot in the exercise of his duties and there will therefore be the fear of loss.

So we can expect to see them share more scenes together in the future and see them develop a true father-son bond?

Anyway, we want it. It will rather evolve into a form of fraternal complicity. They are two adults. He’s Martin’s son but he’s no longer a little one. The screenwriters write according to what is happening on the set. Two actors who meet may not have chemistry or complicity. In this case, with Youcef there was some, very generously even. We are having a lot of fun. He is both proactive and very attentive. I like working with him because he is not afraid to step out of his comfort zone. So, we try, we try things. This is what created the beginning of this relationship between Martin and Nordine and it did not escape the authors who like the idea that it is not too paternalistic. So we will rather start with a benevolent adult complicity.

Martin was not very lucky in love. According to the synopses, they may well meet someone on a dating site in the next episodes…

There was the disappointment of the Tinder scammer but he said to himself “good go”. These applications are not his generation but everyone does so after all why not him. However, Martin does not understand what is going on there. He makes rotten selfies and goes on bad dates. But during a scroll, he comes across a profile that he knows and that you know too (laughs). So there is a bridge that opens for these two characters to talk unofficially about their respective search for a soul mate.

Do you have other projects apart from Tomorrow belongs to us?

I have the pleasure of integrating a Joséphine, guardian angel in June for a role that should be very nice in terms of composition. It will change me from Martin. And in parallel, there is the music but we will talk about that later. However, it is something that feeds me.
