As always in Tomorrow Belongs to Us, the next few weeks promise to be full of twists and turns under the Sète sun.
While the intrigue surrounding the death of Vince (Édouard Collin) will end at the end of the week, the writers of the TF1 daily soap opera will soon tackle a major subject: illness.
If they had already raised the subject through the breast cancer of Marianne (Luce Mouchel) in 2019 or more recently with François (Emmanuel Moire) to whom a suspicious mass had been discovered above a lung, the scriptwriters of the program will again talk about illness through another character.
Met a few weeks ago during the La Rochelle Fiction Festival, Théophile Clément, the producer of the series, and Isabelle Regourd, the artistic producer of the series, returned for us to this upcoming plot.
“We didn’t want to treat cancer through the character of François“, Isabelle Regourd told us before continuing, “It was more focused on a question of state of mind. Who was he going to tell about it? Who was he going to protect and who was he going to confide in?“.
And Théophile Clément added: “The theme of illness will be treated in the coming weeks but through a character other than François. And it will be handled quite well for once“.
But who will be the character concerned?
Even if Théophile Clément and Isabelle Regourd have not let anything more filter out on this subject, the official synopses revealed by the channel for next week’s episodes could well put us in the loop.
Indeed, Bart (Hector Langevin) will receive “disturbing analysis results“. From there to imagining that the manager of the Spoon will be the next protagonist of the program to have health problems, there is only one step.
