AURORE SAYS FAREWELL TO HER MOTHER

Aurore is terribly angry with William for having warned her father of Marie’s death when she had clearly told him that she did not want to see him. The doctor may think that it is time to make a clean sweep of the past, Aurore says that her father no longer exists in her eyes.

Meanwhile, the police are dispatched to the Moreno’s to investigate the theft of the paintings. Instead of the stolen canvas, Damien discovers a reproduction with the initials “AL”. Convinced that the thief was present at the art gallery when Christelle bought this work, Captain Saeed instructs Damien to view the CCTV images of the place. Looking at them, the gallery manager remembers the Spanish tourist who took pictures of the works of art a few days earlier. Insofar as it is very likely that the young man has come to locate the place, Karim asks him to draw a robot portrait.

For her part, Aurore finally agrees to meet her father. Although she declares that she would have liked never to see him again, Pierre says he is very happy that the family is reunited again. When she retorts that he also has another daughter, Pierre points out to her that it is Zoe who decided to cut the bridges. And to add that he did not come here to talk about Marie’s funeral, not to justify it. In vain. Aurore doesn’t care and prefers to leave the place.

Not far from there, it’s time to say goodbye to the Moreno and Betty, Jessica and Dylan are leaving Sète to return to Paris. Very moved, Christelle can happily count on the support of Charlie and Nathan who manage to make her smile again.

At the end of the day, the Jacob-Dauniers are in the cemetery to bid farewell to Marie. Before the start of the ceremony, Pierre confides to his son-in-law and his granddaughters how much Mary meant to him. Full of regret, he understands that he did not make the right choices in the past and that he should have fought more for his family.

Shortly after, Pierre gives a touching speech on the story he lived with Mary. And while he speaks with emotion of his daughters, Aurore sees the silhouette of a woman in the cemetery. Without waiting, she goes to meet him but does not manage to catch up with her. Finding her husband, Aurore declares that her sister was present.

BÉATRICE LANDS IN SÈTE

Beatrice, Sara’s mother, is back for her daughter’s wedding. However, his first meeting with Roxane does not go as planned at all. Indeed, the future bride, who is overwhelmed, confuses her with the florist she is impatiently waiting for. Understanding his mistake, Roxane apologizes.

Later, it was Beatrice’s turn to make a mistake. Looking at the room fully decorated for the wedding, Sara’s mother can’t help but compare the decor to that of a birthday party. The drop too much for Roxane who took care of everything herself and who reacts quite badly. Beatrice then apologizes to her daughter for having set foot in the dish.

In the afternoon, Béatrice, Sara and Roxane have a coffee at the Spoon. Beatrice would like to give her daughter the brooch that her grandmother had given her on her wedding day. As she can no longer find her, she immediately thinks she dropped her in the taxi. Fortunately, Roxane’s talents as a hacker allow her to trace her back to the driver. Relieved to have put her hand back on the brooch, Beatrice warmly thanks her for her help.

SOPHIE MOVES INTO RAPHAËLLE’S CABINET

Sophie Novak is waiting for Xavier at the end of her rehabilitation session. Very moved, the lawyer would very much like to talk to her about Daniel so that they can share memories of the deceased together. However, the prosecutor does not hear from her father, neither with her, nor with anyone. On leaving the hospital, he then fails to be overturned by a car. After Sophie hastened to help him, the latter agrees to give him ten minutes.

Over a drink, Sophie is disturbed by the striking resemblance between Xavier and her father. When he explains that he does not carry it in his heart, she tells him that Daniel saved her life when she was only 15 years old. If she did everything to seduce him despite his young age, Sophie does not regret anything because he was the man of her life. While Xavier believes that he should never have taken this step with a minor, Sophie assures us that it was not a breach of trust. She might want to make him understand that Daniel was not the man he imagines, Xavier indicates that she is wasting her time.

At the end of the day, Sophie meets Raphaëlle at her office, who warmly thanks her for saving her mother’s life. As she would like to stay in Sète to settle some ongoing business, Sophie expresses her interest in Virginie’s office.

At the same time, Xavier arrives in his ex-wife’s office. When he crosses paths with Sophie, he becomes angry, convinced that she has followed him again. Raphaëlle intervenes then then specifies that she offered to rent him an office. Although he strongly advises her to choose someone else for fear that she will get into trouble, Raphaëlle says that she did not ask him for his opinion.
