Got to the bottom of it
Toniebox helps police after a break-in in kindergarten

Small but mighty. Tonieboxes are not only great toys for children, they also help in the hunt for criminals.

More

Tonie boxes are currently on everyone’s lips. With different characters, children can listen to radio plays and songs without the need for help from adults to operate them. Now a Toniebox has even helped clear up a theft. How it came about and where the break-in was, you can find out in the video.

The excitement was pretty big when in April the day care center “Wundertüte” in Halver in the Märkisches Kreis in North Rhine-Westphalia was broken into. The burglar’s loot included fish fingers, noodles, a laptop, various picture books, cups and glasses – and a Toniebox including 13 figures. It was too much for the children. They were so disappointed that they wrote the thief a letter in which they described him as a “nasty burglar”.

Break-in into day care center – stolen Toniebox helps in the search for clues

One’s suffering was the other’s luck: the stolen Toniebox helped the police with the investigation. With the help of a function that the thief did not have in mind, the police were able to locate and arrest the thief. You can find out in the video whether the children got the stolen goods back and more information.
