(CercleFinance.com) – TechnipFMC announced Thursday that it has won a “significant” contract with TotalEnergies as part of the development of the Girassol oil field in Angola.
The oil equipment specialist explains in a press release that the agreement concerns the installation of flexible pipes and associated underwater infrastructure on this block located 150 kilometers off the coast of the country.
TechnipFMC recalls that it had already won a contract last year for engineering services and the supply of equipment for this same project.
From TechnipFMC’s perspective, the value of a ‘significant’ contract is between $75 million and $250 million.
