PARIS (Agefi-Dow Jones)–Energy producer TotalEnergies announced on Thursday a summer discount of 12 cents per liter at all of its motorway service stations in mainland France.
This discount will last from July 1 to August 31 and will be added to that of the State, 18 cents per litre.
TotalEnergies explains that these two cumulative discounts will allow a motorist filling up with 50 liters to save 15 euros.
The group had previously set up a discount of 10 cents per liter between February 14 and May 15 in 2,700 service stations.
This new measure from TotalEnergies comes after Economy Minister Bruno Le Maire met with the company’s CEO, Patrick Pouyanné, on Monday. Before this meeting, the tenant of Bercy had warned that he would ask a new effort to the group.
