A man in his forties was stabbed to death overnight from Tuesday to Wednesday in Tours and two people were arrested, the city prosecutor’s office said on Wednesday. “A 44-year-old man was fatally stabbed this Wednesday around 1:45 a.m. in Tours,” said Tours public prosecutor Grégoire Dulin.
“Two people were arrested and taken into custody for murder,” the magistrate told AFP. The victim was stabbed following a dispute that broke out on the public highway, near the Bretonneau hospital, not far from the city center.
According to France Bluetwo other people were stabbed in a brawl earlier in the evening in Tours.
